I have been a professional for over 20 years and I have limited my
portraiture to a few families that understood how I see things and why
I think a static shot in a studio is Product photography, not people
photography. Models may be shot indoors with heavy lights, wind machines
and elaborate props. But I feel people are best shot doing what makes
them who they are in a normal or sometimes not so normal day. Reality
shows are the big hit these days and for me reality shooting has been
my style for years. So my system I offer you for your family portrait
would be allow me to spend a day with you and your family and during
that day I will capture you and your family in real life. There will
be some minor staging here and there, but let's work together to get
those images you will look back on and remember each person for those
